April at Sand Valley Golf Resort was marked by golf at the highest level. The ECCO Tour Spring Series 2026 attracted top players from across Europe to Poland, who competed for nearly two weeks for prestige and valuable ranking points.

As is often the case in early spring, the weather put the players to the test. The first days of the tournaments greeted the golfers with crisp but sunny skies. However, as time went on, the wind picked up, and combined with the fast greens, it made the course extremely challenging.
Despite a slight chill in the air and variable cloud cover, the course was in impeccable condition, and the sun regularly broke through the clouds, creating the perfect backdrop for the battle for victory.

​The series consisted of three events, each of which provided plenty of excitement:

Sand Valley Open: The grand opening of the series belonged to Sweden’s Albin Tiden, who won with an impressive score of -15.
Tiden displayed incredible dominance, especially in the final round, where, despite pressure from runner-up Kim Koivu, he maintained a comfortable lead.

Sand Valley Masters: The winner was Scotland’s Eric McIntosh (score -15).
McIntosh claimed his first career title on this tour after an extremely close playoff against Oliver Gillberg. The Scot showed nerves of steel, proving that a debut win in Poland tastes the best.

Sand Valley Spring Series Final: The grand finale provided the most excitement. Sweden’s Adam Wallin emerged victorious (score: -21).
It came down to an incredible 5-hole playoff
Wallin, after a fierce battle with two rivals, ultimately tipped the scales of victory in his favor. It was a display of incredible mental and physical endurance after three days of regular play.

​Sand Valley is not just about the scores; it’s also about the atmosphere.
The players were able to bond in the resort’s luxurious villas, which is definitely one of Sand Valley’s hallmarks, creating a unique, almost family-like atmosphere during such a major competition.

​Although the excitement from the ECCO Tour has not yet subsided, Sand Valley is not slowing down!
